Quartz countertops differ from granite and marble countertops in one significant way: quartz is an engineered product, while the other two are solid stone. The composition of quartz countertops is 93 percent quartz, a natural material found in abundance in the earth’s crust, and 7 percent binder and color.
How we select our products
Here, at The Stone Source, we take special pride in our custom curated pieces of granite, marble, and quartzite, imported from Italy. Our team personally inspects miles of potential beauty, to bring you the absolute best in stone slabs. Our strong partnerships with designers, architects, and builders here across Central Mississippi, and our ongoing commitment to “learn to be the best” internationally, include an ongoing investment on our part with our fellow members, in the National Stone Institute, (Marble Institute of America) and the Stone Fabricators Alliance.
